Pathfinder Delivery Model Review
- Date: Oct 2022 - Feb 2023
- Client: West Sussex Mind
Rachel worked alongside West Sussex Mind to evaluate the effectiveness, and impact, of changes to the operational service delivery model for West Sussex Mind's Pathfinder/Recovery services.
These services include: developing support plans; providing individual and group mental health support; facilitating social activities; peer training; and telephone and email advice and information (via a facility called Help Point).
Rachel took responsility for gathering and analysing data from service users and from primary care providers, third sector organisations and statutory providers that work in partnership with West Sussex Mind.
West Sussex Mind gathered data from staff and volunteers.
Rachel and West Sussex Mind co-produced the evaluation report, which included a set of prioritised recommendations for specific levels of responsibility within the organisation. The recommendations were designed to enable West Sussex Mind to:
• Ensure everyone who needs it can get timely support
• Maximise efficiency
• Increase volunteer involvement
• Strengthen management capacity
• Develop services
• Increase capacity.
