Evaluation of Intermedia

Client: London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham
The London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham commissioned an independent evaluation of Intermedia, an organisation with the aim of increasing the diversity of the media workforce, both on and off screen. Intermedia had three funding streams, INTEGRA (European funding), Single Regeneration Budget and Council match funding, and was set up as a work placement bureau, to provide residents of Hammersmith & Fulham with media industry careers information and advice, to assist them in developing media careers. The project involved the following activities:
  • A review of secondary materials.

  • Consultations with Intermedia staff, employers and community organisations with which Intermedia operated in partnership.

  • Face-to-face interviews and a focus group with beneficiaries.
